Our 14-person team combines global expertise in natural sciences, engineering, and business. From our labs and offices in Darmstadt, we work closely with the Darmstadt Technical University and our trusted global partners to rethink and develop materials.

From idea to impact.

Co-Founders Lucas and Montgomery
2016
While interning in the fashion industry, Lucas becomes disillusioned with its environmental footprint. Driven to make a difference, he begins experimenting with agricultural waste on banana plantations in South America.
2019
Back in Germany, Lucas develops the first samples of LOVR™, a regenerative material made from locally sourced hemp.
2021
Joined by two friends, Revoltech GmbH is founded to take LOVR™ to the next level.
2022
Revoltech secures its first venture funding and launches a research collaboration with Darmstadt Technical University.
2023
The team grows significantly, paving the way for larger collaborations and scaling opportunities.
2024
Co-founders Lucas, Montgomery, and their team announce major collaborations, including Volkswagen, launch their second material, MATTR™, introduce their first products, win awards, and continue to grow the team.
